Company Portfolio Lead – FMCG

Role Overview
We are looking a strategic and hands-on Company-level portfolio marketing ownership role from a core FMCG background with strong experience in end-to-end brand building from a core FMCG background with strong experience in end-to-end brand building and category management.
This role requires hands-on ownership of end-to-end brand management — from strategy and positioning to campaign execution, performance tracking, and portfolio growth. The role will be responsible for managing the brand along with its categories, ensuring long-term brand equity, growth, and consumer relevance.
The ideal candidate should have managed brands holistically — including brand strategy, positioning, consumer marketing, and category growth — and not be limited to trade marketing, in-store execution, or sales-driven distribution roles.
This position will work closely with cross-functional teams and creative/media agencies to ensure brand consistency, growth, and strong market presence. The role also requires strong project management capability to manage multiple product categories, launches, and brand initiatives simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Execution
• Support and execute drive integrated brand strategies across ATL, BTL, and digital channels
• Translate brand strategy into actionable marketing plans
• Ensure consistent brand positioning across all consumer touchpoints

2. End-to-End Brand Management
• Lead product launches and drive portfolio/category growth initiatives
• Manage brand lifecycle planning and innovation pipeline
• Oversee brand communication, messaging, and consumer engagement
• Own brand and category performance, growth planning, and market positioning

3. Omnichannel Campaign Management
• Plan and execute campaigns across digital and offline platforms
• Coordinate with agencies and internal teams to ensure timely and impactful rollouts
• Monitor and optimize campaign performance

4. Consumer & Market Insights
• Conduct and apply consumer research and competitive analysis
• Use insights to support brand planning and performance improvements
• Track market trends and identify opportunities for growth

5. Agency & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with creative and media agencies to develop brand communication, campaigns, and consumer-facing assets
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and campaign quality
• Drive project coordination across multiple categories, launches, and brand initiatives to ensure timely execution and alignment.
• Collaborate with product, digital, compliance, and sales teams for alignment

6. Performance & Budget Management
• Monitor key brand KPIs and prepare performance reports
• Build structured reporting formats and dashboards to track brand performance, campaign outcomes, and category growth
• Present periodic brand performance updates and insights to leadership
• Track marketing budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
• Recommend optimizations to improve ROI and effectiveness

7. Brand Governance
• Maintain and enhance brand reputation across all channels
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines

Requirements
• 10–12 years of experience in core FMCG brand management
• Strong background in end-to-end brand building and portfolio/category management
• Experience in product launches and consumer-led marketing initiatives
• Proven exposure to ATL, BTL, and digital marketing campaigns
• Hands-on experience managing creative and media agencies
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership

Important Note
Candidates primarily from trade marketing, BTL-heavy execution, in-store promotion, or sales-led distribution roles will not be considered. We are specifically seeking professionals with holistic brand ownership experience.
