Role Overview
We are looking to hire an experienced Portfolio Marketing Lead from the Energy sector to lead corporate and portfolio branding, positioning, and category development for our energy business.
This role will be responsible not only for strengthening existing company branding but also for building brand identities for new businesses, initiatives, and offerings from the ground up.
The candidate will play a key role in developing company profiles, shaping market positioning, supporting new product/business initiatives, and ensuring strong brand presence across corporate, category, and offering levels.
The ideal candidate should bring a strong understanding of the energy ecosystem along with hands-on experience in strategic brand development, identity creation, and integrated communication.
The role will act as the central brand anchor for the energy vertical, overseeing branding across company, category, and new initiative levels. The role requires strong project management and coordination capabilities to manage multiple brands, categories, and brand initiatives simultaneously.
This role will act as the marketing custodian for assigned energy companies and business entities across the global and India portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for driving company-level positioning, brand architecture, category development, and market visibility across multiple energy businesses simultaneously. Based in Dubai for operational coordination; role will manage branding and portfolio marketing across global and India energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
• Develop and implement brand strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Define brand positioning across domestic and international markets.
• Build differentiated value propositions within the energy category.
2. Category & Market Development
• Lead category planning, portfolio positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Conduct market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights analysis.
• Identify new opportunities for market expansion and brand growth.
• Own brand and category growth planning, positioning, and expansion roadmap.
3. Marketing & Communications
• Drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, and industry platforms.
• Manage brand communication, messaging frameworks, and campaign execution.
• Work closely with creative and media agencies to develop corporate communication, brand narratives, and strategic storytelling for the energy business.
4. Global & Domestic Alignment
• Lead and support brand initiatives across both global / India markets, ensuring consistent positioning while adapting to market-specific needs.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity across geographies.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with business leadership, sales teams, product teams, external agencies and strategic partners
• Strengthen business visibility and market positioning through strategic branding and communication initiatives.
• Drive project coordination across multiple brands, categories, and initiatives to ensure timely execution and alignment
6. Performance & Measurement
• Track brand performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
• Establish reporting frameworks and dashboards for brand health monitoring.
• Build structured reporting formats and dashboards to track brand performance, campaign outcomes, and category growth
• Present periodic brand performance updates and insights to leadership
7. Corporate Branding & Identity Development
• Lead development of corporate identities, company profiles, and brand narratives for new and existing energy businesses
• Support branding for new initiatives, business verticals, and market entries
• Drive positioning for new offerings, categories, and NPD-linked initiatives
• Ensure consistent brand presence across corporate communication, digital, social, and performance channels
• Act as the central brand custodian for the energy business, its categories, and its offerings
• Support development of corporate presentations, brand decks, and company positioning materials for business visibility
Candidate Profile
• We are specifically looking for professionals who:
• Have 10 to 12 years of experience in branding and marketing within the Energy sector (mandatory)
• Possess strong understanding of the energy ecosystem — including market structure, stakeholders, and industry dynamics.
• Have experience working in international energy markets or multinational environments (preferred).
• Have managed brand strategy, category planning, and marketing initiatives.
